Pictures related to the way to Emmaus (in the Rosary series) and the meal at Emmaus with the two disciples (in the Kristha Katha series) connect with a number of images that I have painted on this theme.
The Art Ashram is situated in Silvepura, Bangalore North, 560090. It was started in 1983, and is concerned with the relation of art to spirituality. The founder Jyoti Sahi, is a practicing artist, and his wife, Jane Sahi teaches in the Sita School, an experimental primary and secondary school for village children, which is also situated at the art ashram.
